3rd Block - Span I Honors
Gallatin High School Spanish Teacher
Welcome to Mrs. Marrison's Spanish Class!

Our weekly schedule:

Monday and Tuesday: We learn new material.
Wednesday: Review new material.
Thursday: Quiz or Test + Read article in Magazine
Friday: Culture Day!

TUTORING:Offered from Tuesday through Thursday afternoon, from 3:15pm until 3:45pm. Please just let me know that you will stay, so that I can make sure to be there. Some afternoons we have meetings.

HOMEWORK: Please look at the calendar every day if you forgot what your homework for that night is. From Monday through Wednesday most likely you will be assigned some work to do at home. These assignments can be worth anywhere between 20 to 40pts.

GRADES: Students know every week what their average in Spanish class is. There are two ways we keep up with our grades. We have a folder in the classroom that we update once a week, in which we put all assignments such as: homework, quizzes, bell work, tests and other activities. Students can also check their grades on the web site: www.mygradebook.com on a weekly basis.

EXTRA CREDIT: For every test, students can design a set of flashcards of the vocabulary words that we are learning and memorizing that week. Flashcards will be assigned on Monday and will be due on the day we take a test. Each set of flashcards, will not only help students memorize the vocabulary words, but will also give them 10pts. added to their test grade.

Congratulations to the Student of the Month: Shelly Allison!
