Hello parents, guardians, and students,

Wow! We are off to a good start. Second grade is always a wonderful year for students, because there are so many things to learn. We will be doing a lot of science experiments not to mention social studies, math, and technology projects. Reading and writing about all kinds of famous children's literature will be fun too.

Reminders:

1. Fill out your information card. (The class who turns in all of these cards first on Friday will win a prize.)

2. Other materials to read or complete will be coming on Friday.

3. Please notify me of your child's transportation or placement after school.
Also always notify me of any trasportation changes.
Assignments will vary from day to day. Always check backpacks each night for notes or assignments.

Read 15 minutes independent reading each night.

No homework on weekends (exceptions: makeup work or ongoing projects)
