Classes with 100% Happy Feet include: Miss Smitley's, Mrs. Rolston's, Mrs. Cross', Mrs. Haywood's, Mrs. Stork's, Mrs. Misener's, Mr. Hyder's, Mrs. Whitehead's and Mrs. Vermillion's classes. Students want to have Happy Feet (complete athletic shoes) for class... and crocs, dress shoes and wheelies don't make your feet "Happy" in PE. No food, beverage or gum is allowed in physical education.
We are currently studying the parachute. :). Team Player drawing winner for last week is Kobalt C-K from Mrs. Haywood's class and Camryn B. from Ms. Siler's class
Two Team Players are named each class, with their names going into a drawing for a prize. Classes with 100% Happy Feet will be recognized on the school news broadcast.
Below is the PE Schedule for this year:
Mondays: Whitehead, Decker, Siler and Cigarroa
Tuesdays: Crumwell, Barnett Wednesdays: Smitley, Rolston and Cross Thursdays: Haywood, Stork, Misener, Hyder, Vermillion Fridays: Leeper, Dean, Hawthorne This schedule is subject to change.
Physical Education Classroom Management Plan 1. Coaching: Redirection via verbal commands, change of physical location, and/or loss of equipment 2. Short Stop: Situational redirection of student by placing at specific location for a minimal time period 3. On the Bench: Location redirection by using a "Buddy Room" Short Stop (Mrs. Orfield's window area) 4. Technical Foul: Extreme situation when student is referred to the front office or Principal, Mrs. Pickering, due to violent, threatening, or highly insubordinate behavior.
