What authority does the author or sponsor have to write this type of material?
Hint: Is there a link that tells you about the author or sponsor of the web site? Is there information listed about the author’s credentials?
Does the author give a source for the material that was included in the web site? Is that source reputable?
Hint: You may have to scroll down to the bottom of the page to see if a source for the material is listed.
Is there any bias evident in the information?
Is the information based on fact or opinion?
Can you tell when the site was last updated?
Will the material on the web site be helpful for your project?
