Teacher: Mr. David Nutter
Your expectations:
In the remaining nine weeks, we will cover the following units: Food Guide Pyramid, Eating Disorders, Smoking (Myths and Realities), Drug/Alcohol Abuse, Emergency Care/First Aid, Skeletal System, and Coping with Anxieties (Communication and Coping Skills). Every two weeks there will be an exam covering the material in class, the labs (library/outside), and the homework assignments. I am aware of and have allotted time in support of preparation for TCAP testing. I am also aware of the fieldtrips that may be offered to your student over this nine weeks session. A personalized progress report will be given to your student every three weeks to let them know how they are doing in the class. No homework will be given on Wednesdays.

My expectations: My “Classroom Management Plan” has four basic rules: 1. 4 detentions = 2 days of lunch detention 2. 8 detentions = 5 days of lunch detention 3. 12 detentions = 2 days of in-school suspension 4. After the student receives 12 detentions, the policy starts over again. -Note: Failure to meet one of any of the four rules, following a verbal warning, will result in a demerit given to that student. When a student receives two demerits, he/she will be referred to an administrator.

Grading Scale: Test #1………………..…..25% Test #2………..…………..25% Test #3………………..…..25% Group Project/Lab……….15% Journals/Homework..…….10%
