Please note that this course management software utilizes a tracking program that allows us to ensure that participants complete the course reader as well as the exam. Remember you will be issued a certificate of completion from the New York State Dental Foundation by e-mail once the system indicates that you have completed the course reader and the examination.

COURSE OBJECTIVES
At the completion of this course you will be able to:
- Identify and understand the differences between the types of dental benefit plans
- Recognize plan limitations used by benefit providers to limit their financial liability
- Explain how dental benefits help patients access dental treatment
- Understand the role of benefit plans in influencing the quality of treatment you provide to your patients
