FORENSICS TOURNAMENT in
ORATORICAL DECLAMATION
What is it?
*Students memorize and present a speech that was originally delivered by a real person in front of a live audience.
What are the rules?
*Monologues by entertainers or radio addresses do not qualify.
*No props or costumes are allowed.
*Speech must be at least 4 minutes long and no longer than 7 minutes
*Speech may be edited to stay within the time limit. (Aim for a speech around 5 to 5 l/2 minutes long).
When is the competition?
The competition will be on Wednesday, March 5, 2008
The competition will run from 3:30 to 8:00 PM.
The competition will be at Heritage Middle School, Livingston, NJ
How will students get to the competition?
Our school will arrange transportation to and from the competiton.
Speeches which have already been selected are saved to the public drive on middle. The link below also has some good speeches.
