What a fabulous year it has been!
The second graders have read chapter books and worked hard on comprehension skills. They have written many wonderful stories and learned to spell over 400 words. Math facts are becoming more automatic for them with our daily drills and they can now regroup to the hundreds place. They worked on critical thinking and effective communicating with their wonderful habitat, biography, rock and insect reports. Phew!! These second graders have worked incredibly hard. Mrs. Erhard and Mrs. Corrao are so proud of each one of them. We will miss them so much as they leave us for the new challenges of third grade.
Remember:
1. Stay close to Jesus with daily prayer.
2. Read.
3. Practice math facts daily...if you don't use it you lose it!
4. Read.
5. Enjoy your summer break.
6. Read.
