Though I am now the Quest teacher I still continue to reinforce in our students the importance of learning a foreign language. We are fortunate in having the opportunity for our students to continue their Spanish language learning. Mr. Silva is doing a wonderful job. Enjoy these activities!

Buenos días = Good morning
Buenas tardes = Good afternoon
Buenas noches = Good evening/night
¿Cómo está? = How are you?
¿Qué tal? = How are you? / How's it going?
Estoy bien. = I'm well.
Estoy así, así. = I'm okay./ I'm so, so.
Estoy mal. = I'm not well.
Gracias. = Thank you.
¿Y usted? = And yourself? (formal)
¿Y tú? = And yourself? (informal)
¿Cómo te llamas? = What's your name? (informal)
¿Cómo se llama usted? = What's your name? (formal)
Adiós = Goodbye

Days of the week
Los días de la semana


In Spanish the days of the week do not begin with a capital letter.
On the Spanish calendar the week begins with Monday.

jueves = Thursday
viernes = Friday
sábado = Saturday
domingo = Sunday
ayer fue = yesterday was
hoy es = today is
mañana será = tomorrow will be
