Word Processing - Hyperstudio Project
Create a children's book adapted from a story
1. Read 3 childrens stories and summarize
2. Choose one to modify and write a dedication
3. Using Appleworks create a cover and title page
4. Using Appleworks begin to type the story
5. Using Hyperstudio create a book by inserting the cover and title pages, creating illustrations and words
Project Due by November 30
Reading Portion
30 minutes per day the weeks of Nov.13, Nov.20, Dec.4, Dec.18, Jan.15 Continue the Danger.com series with book 3.
Database Project
Create a database of names and addresses. You will be able to do a mail merge for holiday cards. You can create a card and/or a holiday message to send to your family and friends.
Spreadsheet Project
We will discuss what we want to do before the holiday break.
