HELPFUL HINTS:
Please keep the following supplies at home for homework purposes:
- Flashcards for addition, subtraction, and multiplication for math facts practice.
- Pencils and erasers
-Save all Spelling Lists. Review previous lists weekly prior to Friday's Spelling Test. There will be 5 review words on each week's test.
-Math Homework: Save all Everyday Mathematics Family Letters. If you need to print a new one, please use the link to the Everyday Mathematics website below.
- Practice math facts for 10 minutes each night for your child's weekly designated level. The links below provide websites for practice. Math fact mastery is key to success in the third grade Everyday Mathematics curriculum.
I have added a new website for making math facts practice sheets. This should be helpful for practicing your multiplication facts each night. Please see the link below.
For Term 3 please increase your childs Independent Reading/Reading Log time to 30 minutes per night. Thank you for your support:)
HOMEWORK QUESTIONS??
If your child has difficulty on a particular night's homework asignment, please write me a quick note on the cover sheet of his/her Homework Packet. Then, I can review the problem/difficult part with your child the following morning.
