Web Project Title: Planets
SLE Science Outcomes:
#9 Recognize that the other eight known planets, which revolve around the Sun, have characteristics and surface conditions that are different from Earth; and identify examples of those differences.
#10 Recognize that not only Earth but other planets have moons.

Students should refer to the teacher example to see the kind of work expected and an example of each game for reference. Technology work will require tables for the database and planet image. Students will then create their own game using the information and link it to their site.
Web Project:
1. Create a list of references (no more than 3)
2. Complete a database on each planet; include an image. Each database is to include:
Name of Planet
Diameter
Distance from the Sun
Surface Temperature
One Unique Feature
Orbit Rotation (in earth days)
Orbit Revolution (in earth years)
Name of Moons (if any)

3. Students create a game using the information they have found in their database. Open a new link to: quia.com to access games. Choose game and save it under your name. Login and password are LGMS.
