The third graders that have done an excellent job of
returning their homework this six weeks will be going to
Ritters for a cool treat on Friday.
This is what we are doing the week of May 15-19
READING-Students will be reading novel sets in the classroom and working on various reading skills incorporated in literature circles.
** Continue to READ,READ,READ for those AR points.
-Every other Friday we have our 3rd grade AR STORE for
those students who have earned at least five points.
-The students have also received their Chains with
colorful tags that represent the number of AR points
they have earned!
LANGUAGE - Creative writing and poetry
MATH - Students will be reviewing the the concepts and skills that were learned this year.
**Study multiplication facts each and every night.**
**Review subtraction across zero's.**
SPELLING - Unit 35.
SOCIAL STUDIES - The students are studying Ellis Island
SCIENCE - We will study magnetism and electricity
