¡Hola! Welcome to Srta. Podd's Web page. On this page Spanish 1A students will be able to find activities, quizzes and practice tests that will help them learn the vocabulary, practice verbs, master grammatical concepts and review each chapter.
Success in Spanish depends upon consistent study and participation in class. Studying a little bit each night instead of cramming the night before a test is a MUCH wiser course of action. The class will seem much easier if you break the learning into little segments and master each before going on to the next. Spanish is not difficult but it DOES require memorization, practice, on-time assignments and good study skills.

Grading System:
Daily/Homework/Pop quizzes = 15%
Weekly Participation = 20%
Announced Quizzes = 30%
Tests and Projects = 35%
Be:
C - Come to class with all materials.
A - Arrive and submit work punctually.
R - Respect yourself and others.
E - Expect spelling, grammar and neatness to
affect your grade.
F - Follow directions.
U - Use your organizers.
L - Leave candy, gum, drinks and food outside of class.
