Star Student

Star Student
This week’s star student is Landon Fuqua. He will bring items that are important to him, such as his family pictures.  We will enjoy learning more things about him. Thank you so much to Dalton Clements for sharing about himself last week. Next week will be Skylar Strough.


Reminders

•• Feb 10th—We will take a short trip to the post office to mail a letter.  We will make the letter at school.  Please send 37 cents and an envelope addressed to the person they will mail the letter to by Tuesday Feb 8th.

• Feb 14th we will be having a Valentine’s party beginning at 2 p.m. (no earlier please) Please see the enclosed note about party supplies.  We will be making Valentine boxes at home.  Please send these no later than Friday Feb. 11th so we will be ready for the party.

• Feb. 16th we are going to see ‘There was an Old Woman Who Lived in a Shoe’.  The cost will be $6.00 (parents money too).  Please send the money by Tuesday Feb 8th.  We will have an early lunch at school that day and a snack following the play.  We will leave school at 10:30 a.m. if you are going and want to follow the bus. 

• Feb 18th Friday, Career Dress Up.  Students will come to school dressed as what they want to be when they grow up.

• Please sign and return report cards as soon as possible.

• Students are now being able to take home library books.  Please make sure the books are sent back to school by Wednesday each week so we don’t loose them. Any lost or destroyed library book will be responsibility of the student.

• Also please label your child’s coat with his/her name so they can be identified easily.

• Please be looking for your child’s book bags to be coming home.  See the note enclosed about the reading program.

Check the back of your child's folder for progress reports.
