During the 5th six weeks and continuing into the remaining six weeks of the school year, students will begin and complete a major integrated project that encompasses the following:
Students will explore careers online and will evaluate the information for accuracy
Students will use effective online search strategies for components required and will document information
Students will create, format and edit word documents
Students will use 8th grade TEKS math skills to calculate expenses and other budget items
Students will format and edit spreadsheet document with formulas
Students will create a multimedia presentation
