It's the 3rd six weeks and we are progressing well. This six weeks we will focus on our business unit, learning business letters and memorandums. We are also learning correct report formatting in MLA style.

This six weeks all 8th graders in Technology Applications will have the opportunity to take a keyboarding/word processing placement exam. Students will sign up in their Technology Applications class. Students who successfully master the requirements by passing the exam will be exempt from having to take the high school keyboarding course.

The test will cover word processing skills and concepts we have learned. Students must demonstrate correct keyboarding skills as well as formatting letters, memos, reports, and tables.

The exam is scheduled for December 18. Students will be given an assigned time to take the test.
