EPPP PRACTICE TEST C
PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING BEFORE STARTING ON TEST C!
GENERAL INFORMATION: Practice Test C consists of 200 items covering all EPPP content domains. Ideally, Test C should be taken after Test B has been taken in Study Mode (and Test A and possibly Test B have been taken in Retake Mode). First time scores on Test C should be at least 125! You will be able to take Practice Test C three times: Study Mode, Retake Mode, and Test Mode. You will be able to review your results as often as you like.
STUDY MODE: It is strongly recommended the first time you take Practice Test C you complete the test in Study Mode. In Study Mode, Practice Test C is broken into eight parts (25 questions in each part). The test software will prompt you to review the rationale for each question immediately after completing the question; you should take the time to thoroughly review and study each rationale.
On average it should take about 1 hour to complete and study EACH part of Test C in Study Mode. It is strongly recommended that you spread out taking Practice Test C over about a week. Complete one or two parts (25 - 50 test questions) each day. To reiterate, to complete and study Practice Test C (in Study Mode) you should allow about 8 - 10 hours over the course of one week. Students who rush to complete the test are at a tremendous disadvantage in terms of both learning the content and developing test-taking skills.
RETAKE MODE: We recommend you wait to take Practice Test C in Retake Mode at least 3 weeks after completing and studying Practice Test C in Study Mode. Be sure not to look at or review the items on Test C for at least 3 weeks before taking the test in Retake Mode, otherwise your Retake Mode score will be over-inflated.
In Retake Mode, Practice Test C is broken into two parts (100 questions in each part). The test software will again prompt you to review the rationale for each question immediately after completing the question. A question missed in Retake Mode represents a personal red flag, a question you may miss on the actual exam unless you take some action! Allow 3 hours to complete each part of Practice Test C in Retake Mode. It is expected that you will miss fewer than half as many items in Retake Mode as you missed in Study Mode.
TEST MODE: You should complete the test in Test Mode about 3 - 4 weeks after Retake Mode, and within about a month of your EPPP test date. In Test Mode, all 200 test items are presented, and you must complete all items before you will have the opportunity to review the rationales. Allow 4 hours to complete the items in Test Mode. In is expected that you should score at least 190/200 or 95% in Test Mode.
ACCESSING TEST RESULTS: All of your test results (test scores as well as test items, answers you selected, correct answers, detailed rationales) are stored and can be reviewed by either entering www.quia.com/web into your Internet browser, or by clicking the Useful link below: 'Review Tests.' Then click 'Student Zone,' enter your Username and Password. Click 'View' to review results.
