Welcome to the Troy Middle School Library Information Skills Program.
It is the mission of the program to make sure every student and teacher is able to find and use information effectively and efficieently. Library classes are designed with this in mind. You will see as we go, how your confidence in navigating the library, using databases, computers, and specialized sources will grow. You will be given the chance to be an independent reader and appreciate the quality of the collection as you discover award winning books and use recommended techniques in making selections. By the time you are ready for the high school you will be able to research, report and evaluate your own learning.
