May 9-13
ENGLISH–We will be reviewing verbs and talking about adverbs.
SPELLING/PHONICS -We are studying words with r-controlled vowel sounds, as in heard and hour. Bonus words are April, Mother’s Day, plants, and flower.
This will be our last Spelling test since we have Learning Camp next week.
READING – April reading lists are due. No reading list will be due for May, but please continue reading! Daily reading is very important. A list
of Accelerated Reading tests your child took last week are in the folder.
CONGRATULATIONS to my whole class for winning the trophy for the THIRD time this year. You guys had the most points in accelerated reading for the third nine weeks. I AM SO PROUD OF YOU!! Keep it up so we can win the last nine weeks too.
MATH – We will continue adding and subtracting 3-digit numbers. Please practice this skill and continue working on math facts at home
SOCIAL SCIENCE -We are studying about plants.
