Course Description
Ms. Ramseyer's seventh grade class will be supporting the SOL through course work in the areas of reading, writing, spelling, vocabulary and grammar. We will also be supporting SOL in the areas of civics and economics.
Class Expectations
All students are expected to take responsibility for assignments, behavior and attitude. Students are expected to turn assignments in on time with late assignments resulting in reduction of points. We follow WCS rules related to absences. RESPECT yourself and others is the theme of our classroom.
Parent Portal Tool Activated
Please use the information in Parent Portal to open up discussions with your child concerning his/her grades. This tool is useful for parents to help monitor their maturing middle schooler and to help hold them accountable for any missing or late work. If test scores or quiz scores are a little lower than expected, discussions about study habits or organization may be needed. I am available to students for tutoring or help, before/after school by appointment, during recess and assisted studies.
