Biography Project Due 14 April for ALA students.

Parents, I have suggested to the students that they bring in their flashdrive so that they can save their work each day they get to the computers. Unfortunately, I could only arrange for the computers on Monday and one other day. Monday, we are also dealing with the quarter assessment in reading. Monday was one of those days, so they will not get to use the computers the whole class time - sorry! We have to share the computers.

Please be advised that I will not be available this week to assist with after school.

I would appreciate if you would ask your child if they are missing any work; it is their responsiblity to see me - not the other way around. I can do this while students are working on their projects this week. Grades go on report cards Friday before Spring Break.

I have also suggested that since I am giving them time in class to work on the biography project, they need to bring materials to class to read and take notes. Some students are not doing this and are not using their time wisely often leading to behavior problems in the classroom. If your child becomes a behavior problem because they are not prepared, they will receive an infraction. They are not going to receive any class time for this after the holiday. They are expected to have their powerpoint ready to turn in at the beginning of the period on the 14 of April. Student will turn in their power point (Print 2 slides per page; six - seven pages total)

FOCUS THIS WEEK: I am giving students time in class to read and work on their Biography projects.
