We have been leaving many legacies behind this school year. Our theme this year is "Leaving a Legacy." This is the last year as Indian Trail Middle School, and we are going to have a wonderful year! Next year, our school will become Indian Trail Intermediate School. We want to leave our special mark on our special school.

We are currently working on the skill: Reviewing for the TCAP- Each student has a TCAP folder that should be brought home nightly to study skills for the TCAP.
We will be reviewing Units 1-13 of AHHA this week. Please make sure that you are studying your AHHA cards on your ring each night. Also, study your definition sheet. You will not have a quiz this week.
Here is a little bit of an AR update for 4th Nine weeks:
You must read at least 5 books this nine weeks to meet your goal.
The genres are as follows: 2 Nonfiction 3 Books of your choice 1 Newbery or Newbery Honor
Here are the AR deadlines: March 30th-1 book April 10th- 2 books April 20th-3 books (50% of goal) May 4th-4 books May 16th-5 books May 23rd-6 (100% of goal)
*It is required that you make an 80% on the AR test in order for the book to count.
Students, make sure that you are using your Time Tracker to keep up with daily assignments and stay organized.
Also, please donate to the PTSA!!! There are many wonderful incentives for your class, and you will be supporting your school!!
