Menu Project
You will choose a name and an ethnicity for the restaurant and have it approved. For example you may want to research German, Italian, Greek foods etc. and then choose the ethnicity. We will hardly work on this in school so you are responsible for completing the menu at home or at the library. Final project is due before the end of the third quarter.
The menus must contain at least 50 items and should be in the target language (Italian or Spanish). You should NOT just be copying foods off the vocabulary dittos. You should be creating dishes.
For example... spaghetti with a light tomato sauce ...espaghetis con salsa de tomates frescos
mushrooms stuffed with spinach and cheese...champiniones rellenos con espinacas y queso.
They may include the language of the ethnicity as well and then the translation into the target language.
You can divide the menu into sections just as you have seen in restaurants that you have frequented. Many menus have appetizers, first and second courses, side dishes, desserts and beverages. Menus should be colorful, clearly written in large font, decorated with pictures and may have borders or other decorations.
Group members are responsible to know what the items are and will be asked to present the menus.
