6TH GRADE LANGUAGE ARTS CLASS!
The beginning of every school year is bright with promise, but your first year of middle school is especially exciting and important. Set a goal now to make this the best school year you've ever had. I'm here to help you succeed, so if there's anything I can do to help you, let me know.
READING LOG REMINDER!
Read at least 200 minutes every week. Be sure to write on your reading log in pen, and have your parents or teachers sign it. Reading logs are due every Monday!
SUPPLIES YOU NEED:
1 composition theme book (not a spiral notebook)
1 green folder (with 3 prongs and 2 pockets)
1 blue folder (with 3 prongs and 2 pockets)
Either another folder (not blue or green) or a section in your binder for Language Arts.
Black or blue pens (no other color ink allowed)
Red pens or pencils (for checking class work)
Reinforcements
At-Home Supplies:
Standard dictionary (not Spanish-English)
Thesaurus
Color markers, colored pencils, scissors, glue, etc.
Other supplies may be needed later in the year. In the spring, I will ask you to buy a book (will cost approximately $5.00).
