Welcome to Quia

Grading:
          You are expected to read all material and be prepared to discuss and use it in class and on homework.   Pop quizzes may be given at any time. You are in charge of your own learning; listen, ask questions, take notes and come to tutoring on Monday and Tuesday afternoons.
         Do the work. You will do group activities, but are responsible for having your own copy of the material to study. Your own individual work will be due on time. Make it a habit to ask about, do and turn in all assigned work on time.
         Late work is penalized 20 points per day late….unless I decide to waive the penalty. It is your responsibility to see me before or after class to discuss this.

Grading Categories
          A) Classwork/Homework    25% of grade
          B) Writing                         30%
          C) Tests                           30%
          D) AR                               15%

Writings are due each Friday...BUT you can get all the help you want up to Wed. afternoon. Literature/vocabulary tests will be weekly on Friday.
