Welcome Back from Spring Break! I hope you had lots of fun and are ready to finish out the year.Listed below are some activities we will be participating in.
UPCOMING EVENTS
April- We will be involved in Keep Middletown Beautiful. Be sure to fill in your pledge card. You've already started this project if you planted your seedling. We will be doing a community clean up. Date to be announced.
May 8- Field trip to Victoria Theatre in Dayton and lunch at McDonald's. Don't forget to bring money for your lunch. The amount is left up to you and your parent(s) to decide.
May 23- Field Trip to Smith Park. We will be participating in the Middletown Public Works Display event. We will ride the Middletown transit bus. After viewing the display, we will enjoy a free lunch. Winners of the writing contest will be announced after lunch.
CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
Math-Test on Friday. Practice two digit x two digit multiplication. See links below to review multiplication and division facts.
Health_We will continue learning about the effects of drugs on the body.
Language Arts-We will be reading The Great Yellowstone Fire. Spelling words will come from the story. The next writing assignment will be about How the Middletown Public Works Affect Me and/or My Environment. This is what will be sent in for the contest which has cash prizes.
