Welcome to the homepage for Spanish 1 at CK.

The Quia website lets you study for quizzes and exams in a fun way. Spending just 10 to 15 minutes a day studying your vocab on this site will help you learn Spanish quickly and have some FUN at the same time! The amount of time you spend here is up to you. We will spend time in class on the website, too, and you are always welcome to arrive in class early and use the computers to review your vocabulary.

Listed below are the games created for units 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 in the En Español textbook. Click on the links below to go to those games.

You will also find links to Spanish websites that are useful for practicing your Spanish skills or for learning about the culture in Spanish-speaking countries.

You may check here for weekly homework assignments. I will do my best to post our homework each week. If you fail to write down the day's homework in class you can check here to make sure you get it done for class the next day!

TAREA DE CASA, el 13 de mayo:

lunes: Complete the Semester Review packet for Unidad 4, Etapa 1. Estudia por "the re-take" of the last page of the U.5 E.1 examen sobre mandatos y pronombres. Practice preterite tense conjugations.

martes: If not completed on Monday, make sure you complete the Semester Review packet for Unidad 4, Etapa 1. Complete the Alsop Preterite Practice paquete. Remember, you will not have Spanish tomorrow. You must be in your homerooms no later than 8:25 when school prayer starts.

miércoles: Complete the Alsop Preterite Practice paquete.

jueves: Study for a short prueba over preterite tense conjugations. Complete the Semester Review packet for Unidad 4, Etapa 2, due el viernes.

viernes: Complete the Semester Review packet for Unidad 4, Etapa 3.




TAREA DE CASA, el 20 de mayo:

lunes: Complete the Semester Review packet – Unidad 5, Etapa 1. Read through the Cultura sections in text. Be ready to take the ESCUCHAR, BONUS POINTS y LECTURA sections of the examen tomorrow!

martes: Study for Semestre 2 Examen.

miércoles: Study for Semestre 2 Examen. Please bring a book to read after you complete your examen.

jueves: No hay tarea.

viernes: No hay clase ni hay tarea.
