May
May is blooming with all kinds of exciting activities. Listed below are the many activities and events that we have prepared for the month of May.
Friday May 9th at 9:30 is our Mother’s Day Tea. Mom’s or a special guest, you are invited to receive some wonderful gifts, listen to some great songs, and to eat some great food.
Monday and Tuesday May 12th and May 13 will be the testing for PALS. It is very important that all children come to school healthy and well rested. Also come to school on time. This is the same test that we gave in Fall that I went over with you at the November conference. The second time around is so much easier than it was in the Fall.
Friday May 16th our field trip to the Children’s Museum in Portsmouth Virginia. Make sure your child brings a bagged lunch with a drink. Your child should get a good nights sleep and eat a good breakfast in the morning. We will be having a late lunch so breakfast is very important. Also wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather.
Monday May 19th is Field Day from 9:30-11:30. More information will be coming from Mr. Cutler about this special day. Do bring a water bottle with water only to carry around from activity to activity.
So as you can see we will be very busy this month. June will bring the Father’s Day Lunch, Kindergarten Awards Ceremony, and the Kindergarten Musical. I hope to see everyone at all of our special events.
