This is my class project. It contains web links to geologic sites.
My class taught by Mrs. Anderson has been learning about rocks and minerals. We have learned that there 4000 + minerals on Earth. That is a lot.
We have also learned the shapes of mineral crytals. They are: cupic, tetragonal, hexagonal, othorhombic, monoclinic, triclinic.
We just did a crystal lab. We used salt gravel and alum. We made obsevations on them for 3 days. We wrote down what they looked like. It was fun.
