PreAlgebra and EPA
Students must complete the organizing and rough draft for their POWER writing assignment on Linear Equations. This assignment was assigned on Friday, January 21. It will count as a test grade. We will do peer editing on Thursday, January 26,2000. Students also have to complete the activity on Linear Equations that was begun in class on Monday, January 24, 2000.
Algebra 1
Complete Algebra Exam review 1 both worksheets. Continue to study for the algebra exam that will be rescheduled due to snow.
Wednesday, January 26, 2000
No school. Snow day. All students should continue to study and be prepared with all assignments on Thursday.
Thursday, January 27, 2000
PreAlgebra and EPA
In class, students will edit POWER writing assignment. Students will review the rubric scoring sheet and double check their paper to make sure that all requirements have been met. Begin unit on fractions, decimals, and percents.

Students will discuss slope, equations of lines using slope, and slope intercept. Review problems for exam.

Review scavenger hunt. In class discussion about the importance of fractions, decimals, and percents. Pretest on fractions, decimals, and percents.

Homework: Review for exam. Parents need to sign review problems of choice.
