WELCOME to MARKETING FUNDAMENTALS!
This is a one-year non-co-op course designed to help students explore the roles of business and marketing in the free-enterprise system and the global economy. In addition, students will study how the American economy operates and prepare to make decisions as consumerism, wage earners, and citizens. Objectives and goals of this course, which incorporate the Virginia SOL=s, will enable the students to explore the worlds of business and marketing; understand the role of economics in a global economy; develop communication and interpersonal skills; make consumer choices; and develop employability skills.
Resources include a textbook, workbook, and other related material.
Performance measures will include student-completed worksheets, instructor-prepared tests, written and oral reports, small group activities, and individual and group projects.
