10/07/09: Read the first and if time permits the second essay written by Brutus by clicking on Brutus in useful links. What were his concerns? To what extent were his fears realized? You can answer these questions as a concerned citizen responding to Brutus' concerns at the time that they were written.

Watch the documentary on Frontline in useful links below. Watch all aspects including the timeline etc. Please summarize. Then explain how the documentary answers the two key questions about government that are listed above.
In what way are the ideas in Madison's essay (Federalist 10) represented or reflected in this documentary? Please be specific in your citations from Federalist 10.
Based on this documentary, which of the Anti-Federalist's concerns seem prescient? Again, be specific in your response.
Finally, research the topic itself and incorporate all of your answers in a five page typed paper. (Regular computer spacing-- not double spacing)

Monday, November 23: How does a bill become a law?
Create your own simplified easy to understand version of how a bill becomes a law. You may create a powerpoint presentation or a colorful chart. A fourth grader should be able to understand the process by looking at your presentation. Due Wednesday.
