Morning class work the week of 1/4:

Important Reminders:
*School resumes on Mon. 1/4
*No school Mon. 1/18

*PE on Tuesdays; Library on Wednesdays
*Do you have empty printer ink cartridges laying around your house that you are about to throw away? If so, bring them in to Miss Sandell and get 5 "Sand Dollars" per cartridge! Turning in cartridges to Staples = $ for classroom supplies!!
*Do you have 5th, 6th, or 7th grade level books that you are willing to donate to our classroom library? If so, bring them in to Miss Sandell and get 5 "Sand Dollars" per book!
*Drop off your recycling (bottles and cans) on Tuesdays and Fridays during drop off
*Mrs. Gorman and the "green team" meets every Friday after school. Please see Mrs. Gorman to SIGN UP!

Religion:
*Christian Service: Collect gently used items that we can donate to children in a village in Sri Lanka. Because of storage space, we are asking that you keep your "collections" at home until February. Possible items to donate: Small backpacks, toothpaste, toothbrushes, soap, small towels, tennis balls, small stuffed animals, small toys, pencils, erasers, pencil sharpeners, small rulers, colored pencils, crayons, construction paper, umbrellas, reusable water bottles, children's clothes (shoes, socks, dresses, skirts, blouses, pants, shirts, undergarments, flip flops, sandals, raincoats)

EDLINE INFORMATION
We hope you and your child have been able to successfully access Edline. It is meant to not only give you easy access to your child's grades, but to be more "green" and save paper. Because all grades are posted on Edline now, we will not be sending home individual progress reports for each student. However, when a student's grade falls to a C- or lower, we will send home a progress report. This also applies if a behavior or work habit grade falls to an NI (Needs Improvement). Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
