SAT Prep Students:
This website is designed to help you with your preparation for the SAT exam and also to assist you in your search for the right college and the application process.
During session one we will be completing a survey which will help determine what colleges might fit your personal profile. The survey will help you examine what you like to study, how you like to study, what types of organizations you would like available at the college you select, what social and political activities are important to you, as well as many other facets of college life.
After you have completed the survey, print the results. You will be using them to do further research at a later session.
Today we will also take a look at an SAT Prep website which offers sample questions, answer explanations and a free tutorial for both the verbal and math portions of the exam.
During session two we will be looking at some sites on college essays. You will have the opportunity to check out tips for writing good essays, as well as read essays of students who were accepted to the college of their choice.
