Weekly Homework Assignments

Monday - Spelling words in alphabetical order and math assignment

Tuesday - Write five sentences using at least two spelling words in each sentence and math assignment

Wednesday - Math assignment

Thursday - Math assignment

Daily - Read for at least 15 minutes.

Weekly quizzes and tests

Every Friday there will be a spelling test.

The students in S6 should practice the addition and subtraction facts daily for mastery. They should also practice the multiplication and division facts as they are introduced.

The Poster Paper Book Report is due January 5, 2010.

Current Topics of Study

Science
We are finishing our study of vertebrates.

History and Social Sciences
We are studying the Puritans. We will compare and contrast their lives to the Pilgrims.

Penmanship
We have learned almost all of the lower case letters in cursive!

Mathematics
We have started multiplication and division. Your child should practice the facts as they are introduced for mastery.
