Each computer class, for both fifth and sixth graders, will start with 10 minutes of touch typing practice.
Fifth grade students will spend most of this year learning word processing.
Sixth grade students will learn how to use a spreadsheet this year.
Sixth grade students will also use PowerPoint to create a presentation about their years at Stony Brook. Sixth grade students are encouraged to include all activities or events that they want to remember from these years, including vacations, holidays, birthdays, etc.
