PRINT OUT ARTICLE, WRITE AT LEAST A 100+ word SUMMARY IN JOURNAL, HAND IN EVERY OTHER WEEK ON FRIDAY *or THURSDAY IF WE DO NOT HAVE SCHOOL ON FRIDAY...
When you write your summary:
A.Read the article TOPICS CAN INCLUDE:
1. TECHNOLOGY NEWS RELATED TO WEB DESIGN/DEVELOPMENT/SOFTWARE
2. DISCUSSIONS REGARDING WEB DESIGN/PLANNING
3. NEW WEBSITES AND THEIR PURPOSE (ie. Hurricane Katrina sites were developed *bogus sites that scammed people)
4. WEB DEVELOPER MAGAZINES AND ARTICLES THEY ARE DISCUSSING
B.Print it out
C.Summarize (tell me what the article is about) ON THE JOURNAL FORM...NOTHING ELSE IS ACCEPTED.
Include:
Your thoughts on the information in the article, how will the technology enhance the internet / people that use the internet, etc.
Explain in detail your opinion regarding any of the following questions:
1. What cost is involved in the implementation?
2.What client is targeted with this technology?
3.What can the user/designer use this technology for?
4.Where can you see it used in the future?
5.How does it impact future use of computers or the web?
6.Do you agree with it? Can you use it?
7.How does it impact society?
8.Do you think that it is useful for office use, company use, individual use, educational use, etc?
9.Should we use it in class?
10.How is it useful in web design?
