Welcome Sophomores to the RELIGION CONVERSATION PAGE: This is a new idea for this class. Use it well. Respect one another and enjoy the opportunity to share ideas we don't have time to discuss in class. The question will change every week and really good conversations will be printed and posted in the class for others to enjoy. Abuse of this page will cause others to lose this opportunity to share ideas. DIRECTIONS: 1. When you begin your response mark it with one of the symbols above the letters on your key board. {Ex. %,&,*,or +} 2. DO NOT PUT YOUR INITIALS OR NAME AFTER YOUR COMMENTS UNLESS YOU WANT TO. JUST RESPOND AND SAVE THE CHANGES. 3. When you are finished, scroll to the bottom of the page and press [SAVE CHANGES]. Then go to the web page and see your addition in print. Respond to the following: If I could change one thing in the world to make it a better place, I would.... +-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+-+- ~!~Hmmm well I could just say something about world peace.. but I think it would be nice to be specific. So, I think that society should do away with modern schooling and revert to a apprentice/teacher system. This way, when you decided what you wanted to do with your life, you would follow someone who already did that job, and they would teach you to do it. A one on one learning environment. Some might say that this would contribute to a less educated society on the whole. In my opinion, education can be important, but doesnt have to be. If you base your life around your faith, you can choose whether or not you wish to study the various topics now learned in school. The information will still be available, just not forced upon our youth. In my opinion, this would be more efficient for a religious community, which is what our world should be. ~!~A.G.~!~
