Welcome to all new students for the Spring Session of Rehab (Sports Med) and Medical Therapeutics. Students will be receiving a copy of several papers:
1. Class Syllabus
2. Competency Form
3. Rules Sheet
All papers above should be signed by students and parents and returned to class for a grade on January 10th. A Test will be given on January 10th that covers information in the Syllabus, and Rules Sheet.
In an effort to keep students and parents informed and allow students to be prepared, a schedule will be placed on the dry erase board weekly with dates for quizzes, test, etc. Students should check each day!
In the event of inclimate weather, students should come prepared to class based on the schedule for the previous day. Test, quizzes, etc. will be given on the day following a dismissal for weather.
Rehab. Our first unit is the Skeletal Unit and will be comprised of multiple learning opportunities. Power Point presentations, computer activities, and group and partner activities will be utilized to learn about the Skeletal System. Quizzes are given frequently during this 2 week unit so students should be prepared daily.
Therapeutics. Our first unit is the Nervous System. While studying this unit students will use multiple activities, group and individual as well as computer activites and power pt. presentations to cover material in this unit. Multiple quizzes are given during this unit so students should be prepared daily!
