Research Presentation
You will be researching a topic from the memoir you read and creating a presentation to support a thesis. Your presentation will be completed using either Prezi or Storybird, will contain in-text citations to support your thesis statement and conclude a list of works cited using MLA.
Databases
Your first step will be researching some background information on your topic using a topical database. When you find an article that will be useful to you, print the entire article and save the MLA citations in MS Word.
SIRS Database:
This is a topical database and is a great resource to use to retrieve some background on your topic.

Provides up to date, in depth information on the most debated topics of today. The database provides factual analysis and clear explanations of opposing points of view and as well as numerous special features.

Image Databases
Britannica Image Quest
Contains more than one million images from diverse collections. A username and password is needed to access this databases.
AP Images
Provides access to millions of photographs taken by the Associated Press. Includes historical photos. Captions may be searched by keywords. A username and password is needed to access this databases.
