Monday 1-6(Perfect tenses. Homework, study perfect tenses to date will be using them in Speaking tomorrow at the beginning of class...must use 4 different perfect tenses in your speaking)

Thurs 3-8 (film cafe scene wear appropriate filming clothing! Homework, study for tomorrow's quiz)
Friday 1-6 (Quiz Friday on Perfect tenses)

Class Speaking grade rubric :
Best grade: 10 sentences, use of 4 different tenses, any topic we have covered may be asked about
90% accuracy(or better) on questions asked,(be ready to raise your hands because we will be going around taking turns and you will be doing this verbally after the question and answer period) the ability to state a sentence using the targeted grammar from the drill and why it is the correct (without looking at book or notes)
B: 80%-89% accuracy on the above
C: 70 - 79% accuracy on the above
D:65-69% accuracy on the above

The homework grade : Hand in in writting, or call in, your preparation to speak 10 sentences in Spanish using 10 different verbs and 4 different tenses. From now until the end of the year, every day you must use 10 different verbs! Keep a list of verbs used, if you use any inaccurately, a correction homework grade will be given for the correction of the work.
90% accuracy of the above....etc, you get the picture. EFFORT required!

First week of May
Be prepared to speak in Spanish...any topic above criteria
This week in class we will write the script for the remaining scenes in English. Given the vocabulary we will be using.

Week 2 of May
We will learn the vocabulary needed to write certain sentences each day. In class, those sentences will be written in Spanish. br/> third week of May
Practice for, quiz on, then filming of the diner scenes written last week. br/> Week 4 of May
Hopefully May 24, go to the pool with Alana and film.
Rest of week daily speaking to start then editing
Don't forget we still have to film our "character sketches!"

Quizzes every day that is a 1-6 day. Quiz will include translations from English to Spanish of scene working on, Spanish to English of same scene, different part, and required 10 sentences using 4 different tenses (starting 2nd week in May this will include the requirement of two new tenses being learned each week.
