May 1. Are you kidding me? I remember August 24, the first day of school, like it was yesterday. As we approach the end of the school year, I want you to know that I have truly enjoyed being able to participate in your child's learning journey. Their eagerness and willingness to learn is a reflection of the importance you put on education. We are beginning to complete the final unit plans for the year while entering this unknown world called final exams. I will walk them through the entire process in great detail from the long range time mangement process (3 week plans), developing concise, full year study guides, as well as preparation strategies that will contribute to their success at year-end. Below is a summary of the subjects. Religion: New testament - important events, characters in the Bible, as well as Jesus message Math: all operations, all numbers (positive and negative), variables, exponents, and Pre Algebra topics introduced in late fall 2012. Social Studies - all civilizations covered during the Medieval Times focusing on conflict, religion, leadership, culture, commerce, as well as the advancements that contributed to a better life. Peace. Greg
