School has been in session for 4 1/2 months, now. WOW!
We are moving right along on schedule.
So many things to do, so little time. To remain organized we continue to use the daily assignment notebooks. All students are required to utilize this notebook as a planning tool. It is our hope that you are still checking this notebook, nightly, regardless of if there is a requested signature. If you incorporate this into your busy, daily routine, it will help all of us as a "school family", remain informed. It is easy to jot a note in the daily book and receive a response sooner than later. The notebook usually doesn't get lost and it is harder for the dog to eat. The book comes home every night.
Conferences will be held in February.
Blue Reading Logs are due every Wednesday with proper signatures, minutes added up, with at least 75 minutes per week.
Current Events are always due by Friday,weekly. Each child has the opportunity to take home a Lincoln Journal Star, daily.
New spelling words are received on Monday and tests are on Friday. We are flexible as some weeks are shorter.
Read to Learn Goals are due January 9, 2002.
