Week of March 7, 2005
Math- We will begin working on money this week. Math Facts – We will have a test over 12’s on Friday.
English- We will be learning about pronouns and reviewing adjectives.
Spelling- We will learn words with the long a; e; ei; eigh sounds and words ending with suffixes. Test on Friday. List on back of note.
Reading- Please read with your child every night.
Activity Block

Important Information
Our BUG this week is Katherine Pinkston–Congratulations, Katherine!! Thanks to the PTO and Parent Volunteers who made Dr. Seuss Week so special! I made a mistake last week- I didn’t read the note I sent home. It was about Track and Field shirts, NOT PERMISSION slips. They will come later. Sorry! We had our ITBS Testing today. Everyone worked really hard. This will be a short week for studying spelling words, so work hard on these at home, as we didn’t have time today. I am still having a lot of problems with talking, student’s getting out of their seats, not turning their work in, and arguing with me. Please talk with your child about this. Make sure your child wears his/her tennis shoes on P.E. day because they will be “practicing” for the events they will enter. Thanks for all your support!!
