WOW! What a beginning.
It has been a great few days of school. Hard to believe that the first three weeks are up and we are talking about grade reports already.
We are entering grades as I write this for the first three weeks. At this pace the school year will be over before you know it.
Which brings me to my purpose here which is to remind you that you need to stay busy at all times doing those homework assignments and keeping up with the pace in class. The schedule is really quite brisk.
Next week we will be working in Math Class on getting to know more about numbers and how they work. We are developing our skills in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division and learning how all aspects of math come back to these basics. Can you imagine how important the mastery of these skills are?
For Language Arts class we are going to continue working our reading, but we are going to also continue to focus on our writing skills. We will be looking at things like sentence structures and different kinds of sentences. We are also going to look at some of the parts of a sentence and how important they are.
