Finally I am updating this page!! This has been a great beginning to a new school year.
We start each year with a quick introduction to meteorology.We are using the data from the "Weather Bug" site at Page County High School. We have learned that wet/humid air weighs less than dry air because dry molecules ar smaller than wet ones so they are packed tighter together.
Now we are studying the "Ring of Fire" in our text. This week we will learn about the largest earthquake in the continental United States which reversed the flow of the Mississippi and rang church bells in Philadelphia.
Our Unit test will be in be week of Sept, 24.
