We began a mini project today for Black History Month.
The children used the laptops to research an African American of their choice.
On Monday they will use the information they gathered to create a timeline of their person's life. They need to have enough information for at least ten entries on their timeline. If they did not get enough material in class they should do so over the weekend.
On Wednesday of next week they will complete the project by designing an "award" to give to the person they researched for their contribution to society.
Chapter 9 tests will be sent home on Monday when all students have taken the test. Grades have been posted on edline for those who have already taken the test.
