Welcome to your class page.

Here I will keep a list of writing and reading assignments we've begun in class and reminders of upcoming events. You will also find some games and activities that might help to build your literacy skills.

You can read the novel Touching Spirit Bear at your own pace and work through the reading guide questions at any time.

Don't forget that you also have to read graphic and information text and answer the questions. The written ones must always be in complete sentences.

You can write opinion pieces on topics that you feel strongly about. For example: Sports, bands, winter activities, driver testing, etc.

You may choose articles on topics of interest to you and summarize them.

Or you can come to me for the articles and topics that I have. There are many photocopies printed and labelled at the front of the room.
