Solo and Ensemble Tuesday, May 5, 2009 4:00 p.m. until 8:15 p.m. Fees will be as follows: $5.00 for each Solo $ 3.00 per person for each duet $2.00 per person for trios, and larger ensembles. Registration material is due by Friday, April 24. Checks should be payable: HHS Band - Solo/Ensemble. Complete the Prepared Selection Pre Registration Form. (one per performance) If needed fill out the Accompanist Registration Form Please send a copy of your current MENC Membership card or pay the big bucks as listed on your financial information.($92.00) If a director is not attending the event, then please make sure that the student is sent with a responsible adult with the proper authorization from the director and the school principal. Cash will not be taken from students. Directors should take care of the handling of money. Every attempt will be made to accommodate the needs of your students. Please mark on your registration forms needs for early or late times. Directors please let me know of needs for Percussion Equipment on your students or ensemble forms. The host school is not responsible for supplying mallets and Auxiliary percussion items. Directions to Holston High School: The School is located 2 miles North of Damascus on State Route 91. From 81 South take exit 29 at Glade Spring, Turn Left, follow 91 through the light, Holston is approximately 12 miles on the Right. From 81 North take exit 19 Damascus Exit, Turn Left on 11 North and precede Right through the light on State Route 58 Approximately 6 miles turn left on Rhea Valley Road. At the end of Rhea Valley Road turn Right on Route 91. Holston will be 3 miles on the Right. On May 5th, Students will report to the auditorium. Leave cases and belonging in this area. Report to Room 100 for warm up approximately 15 minutes before your performance time. Performance times will be posted outside of each room and in the hall outside of the auditorium. It is the responsibility of the student to report to the warm-up room and the performance area on their own. Room monitors will be there to assist you. Scores and rating will be returned to the director, scores will not be posted. Food, Drinks, and snacks will be offered in the cafeteria. Please keep those items in that area.
